Jeon Jung Kook is a South Korean singer-songwriter and record producer. He graduated high school from Seoul's School of Performing Arts. He is a member and main vocalist of the South Korean boy group BTS. Jungkook made his debut at the age of 15, on June 13, 2013, as a member of BTS on Mnet's M! Countdown with the track "No More Dream" from their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. Together with the members of BTS, he went on to win a series of awards and performed at several events, such as the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and Billboard Music Awards (BBMA).
Alongside the other members of BTS, Jungkook was awarded the Hwagwan of Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea for contributing Korean Culture and Literature to the world, making him the youngest recipient ever to receive the Order of Cultural Merit.
On March 3, 2022, he graduated from Global Cyber University (a degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment) with President’s Award (the highest honor bestowed on a graduate)
On November 20, 2022, he performed at the FIFA Qatar World Cup opening ceremony with the official soundtrack "Dreamers".
On July 14, 2023, Jungkook released his solo debut album with the song "Seven", which he collaborated with Latto. Since its release, 'Seven' has skyrocketed on the charts, shattering records across various music platforms, with iTunes being one of its conquests. BTS's Jungkook breaks records with "Seven", reaching #1 in 100 countries in 2.5 hours.
He enlisted in the military on December 12, 2023.
