Omae no Tsumi wo Jihaku Shiro (2023)

Uda Koji comes from a family steeped in politics. His father Uda Seijiro is a powerful assemblyman and he is an authoritarian type of person. Uda Koji works for his father as his secretary. One day, Uda Seijiro's granddaughter is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands that Uda Seijiro set up a press conference by 5pm the next day and make a confession of his crime. That is the requirement to release Seijiro’s granddaughter, but Uda Seijiro refuses. Uda Koji confronts his father, who doesn't tell him what the crime is about, and he struggles to find the truth to save his niece.
